Well, hello there!

My name is Waleed, and I’m an award-winning creative director with 10+ years of experience in the ad game. My journey started in Toronto where I went to ad school for copywriting. As a hungry young creative, I got my big break halfway across the world in Dubai. Without thinking twice, I hopped on a plane not knowing what to expect, but ready to work my ass off and keep an open mind. In my first year I won a number of international awards, including my first One Show Pencil which I still sleep with every night...I'm kidding...or am I?

Since then I've worked with many iconic brands like Coca-Cola, Nike, General Motors, Heinz, and McDonald's to name a few. I’ve also picked up some more shiny pieces of metal along the way. More importantly, I help other people who make stuff be successful by shaping an environment that celebrates their creativity, and creating opportunities for them to learn and grow.

Storytelling is my passion and I love what I do. If I can have some fun along the way, then even better! I guess it goes back to my school days as the class clown. I've just always loved to entertain people.
